Dynamic QR Codes: Change the Destination After You Print
AUDFIX now supports dynamic QR codes: a short link lives inside the code, so you can edit the target URL anytime and track every scan — device, date and referrer included.
A static QR code encodes a URL directly: print it, and the destination is frozen forever. A dynamic QR code encodes a short redirect link instead — ours look like audfix.com/q/Ab3xK9p. The code on paper never changes, but where it leads is up to you.
Why dynamic beats static for anything printed
- Restaurant menus — update the PDF without reprinting table stickers
- Business cards — repoint to your latest portfolio or LinkedIn
- Posters and flyers — switch campaign landing pages mid-campaign
- Product packaging — point old stock to new documentation
Scan analytics built in
Every scan is recorded with date, device type and referrer. The stats page shows a 30-day scan chart, unique visitor counts and your top traffic sources. IP addresses are never stored raw — only a one-way hash, so analytics stay GDPR-friendly.
Logo and colors
Upload a logo and it is placed in the center of the code automatically. We raise the error-correction level to H when a logo is present, so the code stays scannable even with up to 30 percent of it covered.
The free plan includes 2 dynamic QR codes per account. Create yours at audfix.com/tools/qr-dynamic — and if you only need a one-off code, the static generator remains free and unlimited.
